Who we are

Listening Pine sells The Desk Reset, a short Eight Silk Brocades follow-along for people who sit all day. Write to hello@listeningpine.com, or use the address in the footer if it differs.

Account

When you create an account we store your name, your email address, and the password hash used to sign you in. We use them to keep you signed in and to attach a paid course to you.

Pre-order

Checkout runs on Stripe. We store the order status, the amount and currency Stripe charged, the product, and the email on your account. We do not store card numbers. Stripe processes the card under its own terms.

Free starter

If you join the 3-day starter we store your email address, the time you signed up, and a short note of the page you came from. That note is at most 80 characters, and control characters are removed. A hidden company field is ignored and is not stored.

We keep the address so we can send the starter and news about the course. Joining the list records the address. This release does not send that mail by itself. We do not sell the list.

Cookies

Sign-in uses a session cookie. Language, and light or dark mode, are stored in a cookie or in local storage on your browser.

Sharing

Stripe receives what it needs to charge the Price you are buying. Our host processes the request as infrastructure. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Deletion

Email us and ask to delete your account and your starter address. We remove them unless we must keep an order record for accounting or a dispute. Card data stays with Stripe.
